Bridlewood Riding Centre is situated in pleasant rural surroundings in the county of Flintshire North Wales. Known as the gateway to Wales.
The stables enjoy a relaxed countryside location just outside Prestatyn with direct access onto the local Gronant, Talacre Beach along our own private bridle way.
The location allows for superb hacking over, nearby hillside routes with spectacular view on miles of open Beach. You can rest assured that all our rides are accompanied by qualified riders in order to ensure your own and your childrens safety.
Our aim is to privde a safe riding enviroment so you can relax and take in the beautiful scenery and surroundings.
All visitors are greeted with a warm welcome at Bridlewood, we are happy for you to come and look around the Bridlewood Riding Centre at any time,
We are a family run business and we aim to provide fun and learning activities for your children. We are a registered Pony Club Centre, as well as being Highly Commended by the British Horse Society. As well as running Pony Club 1pm-5pm every saturday we hold an annual Pony Club Camp and badge evenings so your children can work towards a recognised achievements while still having fun and learning how to care for a pony. Throughout school holidays and weekends we run Own A Pony Days which give your children the chance to learn about having their own pony and its a great way of socialising and learning how to ride.
BHS Rating of Centre "Highly Commended"
The BHS has just finished its' annual assessment of the Centre and we are delighted to have received a Highly Commended assessment on most aspects of their inspection. This is highly significant and reflects well on all staff, horses and our facilities at the Bridlewood Riding Centre and means that you, our clients, can be confident that the facilities and services you receive here are amongst the best in the country.
Pony Club Approved Centre
As a Pony Club Approved Centre, we can offer children without their own ponies access to all the benefits of the Pony Club enjoyed by branch members. As a Pony Club Centre Member, your child can work their way through over 30 different Pony Club Acheivement Badges, Pony Club Tests and Progressive Riding Tests using our ponies.
